I had Noah help me, we just did mine. If you have a friend to help it is pretty easy. Note when you take out the pin that holds the bottom in there is a bushing that might need to be tapped back out to make room for new strut to slide in easily. GL

For the front, pay attention as in what position you tighten the upper susp. arm. (lower arm must be in it's natural position(saves upper arm's bushings as I understand)). That's step #5 on TSRM.
Like once IJ said, put something under the lower arm and lower the car to the natural position, torque down the upper arm, raise car, put wheel back :) Atleast something like this.

do you have the compressors with the safety pins on them? if not i would suggest renting/buying a set from autozone. idk on the supra specifically, but a spring/strut job is usually extremely easy, it just takes time

<edit> i just looked at the manual, that spring compressor with the long forks they are using in the illustrations... does anyoen know where to get one like that? that would make life much easier, than using the two compressors like usual

I know you're having trouble getting the bottom in. What I did was put in the top and put on the three bolts to hold it there, but not nearly tight. I just threaded them on enough just so that they were on so the top wouldn't slip back out.

The bottom didn't exactly glide it, but either line it up with the bracket on the bottom from behind, in front, or the top and line up a 2X4 or something that wont damage it and give it a few taps and ur good.

Bolt usually lines back up no problem and before you know it, it's over and you're gonna be taking pics of ur ride dropped. Good luck, let us know how it went, and what you did.

I had a pain getting the bottom of the rears in. I ended up grinding a hair off the bottom of the strut where the bolt goes through to make it fit. I had to do it with the kyb-gr2's and my megan coilovers. I know there is some kind of spacer on the suspension at the bottom, but I couldn't get it out. So, I said screw it. It appears to be working though.
