sponsor worth it?

a local car shop came to me and saw me hanging out the local race spots and asked me if i wanted a sponser. the deal is i put a 6inch by like 3ft sticker w/ their name on the rear windshield for like 6-12 months and in return i get unlimmited access on weekends to their fully equiped shop, tools and everything. but just weekends. im gonna go down and check out the shop, by god if they have a lift im in.
you guys ever been offered shit like this. for some reason people want their stickers on my car. cept all the people that have approached offer like $20 for a window sticker that looks pretty gay. so far i have perfectly mint clean exterior white package and i dont want banners like "GREATLAND EXHAUST" when they dont even do my exhaust work.

If the shop is pretty well equipped I would do it. And yes a lift is a must! Try to get some discounts on parts too!

I am not big into sticker but to have a lift that I could use on weekends would sway my opinion.

X2. Make sure they have the lift available when YOU need it. Is it going to have something on it every weekend? Are you going to be responsible for moving the car off the lift and liable for damage? Better ask those questions! First and formost, cover YOUR butt. Not thiers.

considering if the previous posters inquiries prove true, i'd jump all over that! hell, its only six months. so what if you're mistaken to be a ricer, at least you'll still be faster than most of them! make sure they have decent tools and whatnot first, and that if you break their tools that you arent responsible for them! after all, you're advertising for them!

well all i know is they have like 2 other people doing this somewhere out of town and weekends is "open shop" and if your sponsored you have "dibs" but i gotta look deeper make sure there isnt a 3 year waiting list. but if there is a lift i will go for it, i think he mentioned bassicaly if im sponsored i can bring any car i want in as in friends too so i'll let you guys know if i go ahead and do this.
