Speedometer Won't Work...

If the speedometer won't work on my car, could this be a complicated issue, or no matter what it is a relatively simple fix?

Probably a broken cable.

There are 2 sections in it.

Upper is a bit of a pain to change out so check the lower first.

If you disconnect the Join and idle the car in gear on stands you should see if it's turning or not, if it is you can then spin the upper using a cordless drill to verify it's broken.
