ok so, during the winter, I bought new gauge faces for my car, I put them in, and they work fine, but now my speedometer is roughly 30mph behind. so when I'm going around 30, it reads zero; 50=20. its not hard to read it all I do is add 30, but its a pain in the ass and may not be legal so any help is appreciated.

someone correct me if Im wrong but I believe you can just turn the needle while its outm, untill it goes to zero. Or is that just with the tach? If not I can send one your way, I think I have 2 spares.

Pull the needle off, and put it back on at 0. Or turn the needle all the way around until it stops, then turn it further so it spins on the post.

Not too hard. I've had all of my needles off a few times before.

what do you mean "spins on the post", and I tried to pull the needle off before, and it wouldnt come out, allthough I didnt pull very hard out of worry of breaking it.

The needle is just slipped onto a metal post, if you turn it all the way up, then turn it further, the needle will move on the post.

Here's a pic of the speedometer unit:

The needle comes off, pull harder, lol. (It is best if you use a fork or something, so you don't break the needle's plastic).
