first off let me let assure everyone i did search but i couldnt find a thread which displayed the same problems im having.

at first when i finished my swap the speedo wasnt working because the cable wasnt pulled all the way through into the green housing (not sure what the name of that part is). so i pulled it through some more and it works now but tonight when i was taking a freind for a ride in it i couldnt help but feel that the speedo was behind. i was revving out every gear to redline (and im positive my tach is correct) im pretty sure i redlined 2nd and when i put it into 3rd and looked down at the speedo it only said about 40-45 mph. my car is an original turbo 5 speed and has the original diff in it. i never had a problem with the speedo when the 7m was in there. could it be maybe that the cable could be getting pinched somewhere? i widened the speedo cable hole to run my harness through. i believe i used a 2.5 or 3 inch hole saw to open it up some more. the harness was not really tight in the hole. at the most its kinda snug in there. the only thing i think it could be is a pinch or a kink somewhere.......
any help is apprciated.
thanks
Vic
