Should I buy the Spearco Style intercooler from Driftmotion? Do I also need to buy a intercooler piping kit for this intercooler or should I keep the stock one's?

For the most part it will fit with stock pipes but I would strongly recommend upgrading the pipes before you do the intercooler because you probably have some nasty oil in the stock pipes if you are running it without a catch can. I would hate to see you get that oil in your new intercooler. the fitment is pretty good on the replica, just make some brackets and you will need about a 8 inch pipe extension coming from the pipe that connects to the turbo if you bolt it up to the stock brackets. Here is a pic to give you an idea of what it look like:

almost forgot....you will have to relocate your oil cooler, it is a very tight fit but it will bolt up if you make some brackets. Good Luck!

The larger Spearco I got from DM was not the biggest they have. He had one bigger, but said this one was more efficient. It is about the same size as a stock cooler, only thicker and much more efficient than stock. I did not have to relocate my oil cooler at all.

Here is is pictured on top of a stock cooler.

I have the smaller spearco style intercooler. I kept my oil cooler in the same place. My intercooler was a little bit of a pain to mount, I welded exhaust brackets onto the bumper mount. The aluminum ones it came with were flimsy and broke when I tried to bend them into shape. It was also tight (real tight) to get 2.5" pipe in there so I recommend getting some 90 degree bend silicone couplers to be able to route the pipe coming off the turbo and then another to dip the top outlet down enough to connect to the pipe running to the TB.
Good luck, its a project, but well worth it!
