changed spark plugs a few days ago, galley was so full of oil i had to suck it out with a shop vac. after getting it dry in there i pulled the plugs and the ones in cylinders 2 and 6 were just doused in oil. i mean i pull these bad boys out and my entire socket just spews oil and where i lay it on the ground, a big ol' puddle forms.

any advice, ideas?

would changing the valve cover gaskets help me on this any? (the galley leak)

Yes YES oh god yes! My engine was like yours, the valleys were full of oil, and it was coming from the valve cover gaskets. I removed the plugs and they were coated so heavily it was just a glob of oil. I cleaned it all out, and replaced the valve cover gaskets. I also scraped the 3rd valve cover gasket clean as it was old and gross. Not a single spec of oil has leaked yet, needless to say my valley/plugs are nice now :)
