Want to change my spark plugs, but it looks like its gonna be pretty difficult. The cover has to come off along with the 3000 pipe. What else should i need to take off. Thanks.

I remember the 3000 pipe was a pain, plus also the throttle assembly near 5,6 cylinder. So i can get to the 5 and 6 the others are under the 3000 and that cover with the silver / red turbo plate.

the 3000 pipe is two clamps and two bolts.

again, changing the spark plugs on the mkiii is trivial. its actually harder on the 7mge cause you have the y pipe to remove AND replace that gasket there.

the throttle bracket thingy on top of the head there is also easy, just a few bolts and you just move the thing out of the way.

you don't have to take the 3000pipe off. you just need the right tools.

also, while you're at it, replace all of the valve cover phillips screws with stainless steel bolts 6x30mm i believed. Cost like $10 max & does wonders.
