SP61GT exhaust housing swap ?'s

Hey guys,
I've searched here and supraforums but cant find exactly what i'm looking for. I've even tried emailing sound performance but they never replied.

anyway, I'm hoping its possible to swap the exhaust housing on the bolt on sp61gt to a standard t4 flange. Or just hoping that somebody would even know what size/trim turbine they put in the turbo so i could get headed in the right direction.

I know i could just pop the exhaust housing off and measure the turbine, but i never think about it when i have a set of calipers available.

The one I had looked like a standard Garrett t4 exhaust housing where it mounted to the center section. :dunno:

hmm..
so you think that i'd be able to just buy any old T4 exhaust housing and swap it out? The trim still matters though when buying the housing doesnt it? P vs Q or whatnot. And i see them listed from 52trim up to 80 trim.

yes you have to know what size the turbine wheel is. the turbine housing is machined to fit the wheel.

I'm pretty sure that the SP61GT uses the same exact turbine and compressor wheels as the SP58 turbo that sound performance uses on there MK4 turbo kits. If I were you, I would call Larry or Tim at SP and I'm sure they will help you.

The SP61GT uses a Stage V T3 exhaust wheel. From what you're talking about
you want basicly that but with a T4 footprint? I can help, PM me you rnumber
