i was trying to get my car to run right and i stated to head a tink tink in the turbo it would go away then come back i was thinking that mabye theres something it there mabye not i dont know. has anybody else had this problem

never had that problem before you sure it's in your turbo?
does your turbo have shaft play at all? chipped fins maybe misin fins?

so i took apart the turbo and noticed that there was no clamp on the exhaust housing so i took it apart and changed the seals and bought a clamp turbo play is none. man the guy who sold me this car forgets parts. so what was happening was the exhaust housing was coming off and touching the fan. Im just so glad i dont need a new turbo yet.

Did you go carbon or dynamic seal?
What did you clearence your bearings at?

Your right i didnt change anything the turbo was recently rebuilt. I had to heat up the housing to pop it off i didnt change the berings and they were in good condition and spun freely. i only changed the seals on the housings. The internals work great once i pulled off the housings. when i bought the car the turbo was in great condition just the fact of the clamp being non existant made the turbo start to separtate as i was running the engine.
I went to the turbocharger section and read the rebuild of ct26 to find out how to take apart the charger.
