Just wondering, where is the light feed for the rear marker light.. or is it non-functional on 89+. I am thinking I may have to cut my 88 tail light wires and rewire them into the 89+ Khouki tails I have. Maybe the lights were wired external?
I have 2 empty markers right now in the back and looking to fill them, but want to do it right.
Generally.. do I wire them into the inside portion of the light bar (the white cap holding all the lights) or tap into the wires on their way into the light bar?

Anything I should be wary of? (I like asking that before I cut wires.. lol)

Thanks in advance!

I believe the rear marker lights are fed from the stock tail light bulb holder (light bar)... It is functional and I put LEDs in mine a couple years back. I do have some bulb holders on the shelf somewhere and can take a look later today, if you need a pic (or check the for sale section for pics).

Good luck!

Yeah, my Khouki Tails are from Japan, so there is no marker light wiring going there. I would very much appreciate a photo if you have one that shows the wiring. I am guessing it will be similar to the 88 taillight routing (as to which wires it leeches off of. Personally I like having markers when the car is a darker color.
I have the NA version of the tails (just the sides, not the center) and I dont see any wires coming from the light bar to accomodate that.
