The shaped plastic housing that covers the engine wiring harness and runs just behind the timing belt cover. The damn things are always destroyed and brittle as hell.

If someone made a new one that could snap overtop of the wiring harness, I bet they could sell a *lot* of them.

I know where you can get one for free!!!!!

Just order a brand new wire harness; mine came with the housing behind the timing belt cover included, no charge. ;)

That really hurts Dave. Okay, so I spend a little time in OT, but you should just see some of the really smartass, unproductive contributions I've made in 526 posts over the past year outside of OT....

As for Dayton, I'm damn lucky to have the kitchen pass for Chicago (disclaimer: as long as it doesn't happen during my family vacation to So Cal Aug 4th through the 11th, of course). But I will double check to make sure that I can't sneak away for a day or two. :icon_bigg

I hit up ARZ about it, and we'd need 6 people to throw down... but he's also mentioning that his valve covers are going to have something about taking care of the wiring loom issue.... hit him up about it!

*EDIT* 1320th POST BABY!!

Are you talking about the thin plastic cover that does DIRECTLY onto the harness in this pic The one that gets screwed down w/ the top two bolts of the cam cover?

or the larger one that covers the coil packs?

I completely replaced mine with a strip left over heat resistiant material. Just wrapped it like a burrito and secured it with clamps. Now the wires are safe from heat.

I could get my mate who works in the plastics industry to see if it would be easy to make these.
I will send a photo to him tonight
