Some stuff mounted and a question.

I mounted my SAFC2 and HKS EVC 4, but haven't wired them yet. I'm taking my time with this car.

Also, I want to install my motorized touch screen for my carputer, but have no dash room.

I was wondering if anyone has removed this plastic plate:

And if there would be enough room behind it to mount a normal DIN sized unit.

If that spot won't hold a DIN sized unit, how difiicult would it be to relocate the climate controls to the passenger side instead? I haven't pulled the dash apart, yet. Not sure I want to if I don't have to.

You can do either. I plan on putting my radio on the passenger side.

There is some ducting that runs to the vent on that panel. You will need to remove that duct behind the dash, then you can go for it.

OR relocate the CC to the center console and put the screen there.
