Hello,
first of all, I'm new here, my name is Marcus and I live in Sweden.

Since this is an dedicated supra forum I was hoping to get my questions answered here. I have been search and looking thru alot of project threads, but I want to know more :)

I'm interested in the suspension and think it's a good solution with it's double a-arms and so on. But I don't own a supra, so I would like to hear what you think about it?

Does it have any weakspots? Where does it usually break? In what way do you usually reinforce it?

Has anyone done any calculations on it? Does anyone have all the messurements for it?

Thanks in advance,
best regards
/Marcus

The biggest downfall of the supra is the weight. And even that isn't such a big deal if you know how to deal with it.

The geometry is decent, not the best and far from the worst, but it also depends on what you're trying to do with it.

It's definitely a car that can be made to handle very well.

It's decently strong, has some small issues, but nothing aftermarket arms can't fix.

What kind of calculations are you looking for?

Wasn't it the rear swaybar endlinks that were weak? (I know the tabs are as well but I thought the major issue was the endlinks) An easy fix btw, just get a decent set of adjustable rear swaybar endlinks, there's a few vendors on this site that sell them and they are a good investment even if you don't track the car.

I come from a land down under
17 feet of travel and uprated bars will tend to tear the tabs off at times.
(slight exaggeration)

I have short stroked shocks and whiteline bars on stock 86.5 end links and tabs and have never had a failure in 11 years of abuse.
