I listed a childs bike seat we no longer use for $25. I think it's a reasonable price as I've had plenty of people interested. Only all of them want to lowball me. Not only that they want me to meet them halfway to their home to sell it.
I recently had this guy in Austin want me to meet him in San Marcos, and claimed that he'd pay me more for my trouble. That's a 60 mile round trip for him, 120 mile round trip for me. WTF is he thinking? I suggest him to keep his "extra money" and go to his local Walmart and buy a new one.
I thought craigslist listing were local listing. If you were interested in buying something you'd have to go pick it up. If it were a big ticket item I can understand meeting someone halfway in your own city to make a sale. Not a cheap item and wanting someone to drive way out of their city. Have you guys ever gone through this?
I think I'm just going to donate to a children's home and let them enjoy it, instead of dealing with a bunch of unreasonable cheap asses.
