I know you've mentioned that you're looking for a turbo targa, but consider a turbo w/ factory metal sunroof as well. You'll still get the open roof, but without the targa's downsides. Plus, it all happens at the touch of a button and you don't lose space in your hatch. (Plus, no leakage problems!)

I'm not knocking targas, I'm just mentioning why I prefer sunroofs as a suggestion to keep his options open.

Word.

ya prices are bitching high this year, check out these prices, http://www.hebdo.net/result/result....al=&distance=&city=&pro=QC&dm=1&type=province cehck this out, its insane a 90 Supra for 12.5k, 1990 for 19k, 89 for 20 000$....its like...what the fuck, bought mine last year for 5k and its a Turbo 89....i laughed so hard when i saw those mk3s at 18 and 20k, STOCK

cars LOOSE value when you mod them...unless it is some dream machine that the guy has built.

i got my 86.5 for ~3200, my friend with a 91t said i paid too much. now though after i get it painted i am sure i can get at LEAST 5k for it.

75000 miles on the clock, and a freshly rebuilt 7mgte dropped in there.

Congrats, $5800 should be able to buy you a nice Turbo. Good luck on the search for one.
I might have more money to put towards it as of right now its 6,000 but if it takes some time i could easly stockpile some money and if it takes me liek 2 months or so for a grad gift my parents could chip in another 1,000 or 1,500 but i rather buy a turbo first then have them give me something worth 1,000 for the supra.
