Solara injectors

I heard that a good way to save money on injectors for the Lexus AFM upgrade was to get injectors from a solara. Supposedly there 550 cc.

I dont see why the NA solara would need 550 cc injectors though.

i was thinking the same thing. i heard that FC turboII had NipponDenso 550cc's that'll swap right into 7mgte's. not sure about the impeadance though. maybe someone here can confirm that.

even if the impedence is wrong you can just add resistors to change it. I have 4 or 5 injectors from my rx-7 motors sitting at home so maybe I should consider that...

highly doubtful. there's no need for inj. that large in the solara....

i woyuldnt be surprised if the new one actually used 500cc injectors. For a new camry with 256 hp, it would be pretty easy to upgrade air and fuel to upgrade horsepower...

The injectors for the solara are actually 292cc for all years, I should know, I work at a Toyota dealer, and that applys for all the 1MZ, 3MZ V6s besides the 2GR in the new Avalon which is BAD ASS!!!!
