and checked on a full gasket kit. they quoited me $500 and some change. seriously now is it really legal (im joking) for them to charge that much for a butch of paper and a few metal ones. and another question am i gonna need any more gaskets or is that everything. it is the felpro set.

the set from toyota is a felpro set???? is that what you're saying? Cuz if so you're getting seriously ripped off. My toyota gasket set was the "toyota gasket set" you can buy felpro elsewhere.

depends on what all you're doing. It comes with the exhaust mani - turbo gasket but not the turbo - downpipe gasket. There were a couple other things I found missing from mine. I think I was missing the 2 smaller EGR gaskets but I had the EGR cooler gasket. Little things here and there. THe toyota set comes with almost every gasket in the damn car. Tons of crushwashers and such. I'd get the felpro kit, it's gonna be a lot cheaper (I paid $300 for the yota kit....gotta love getting s*** at cost)

I am almost done my build and the toyota kit has every gasket and seal. Im not missing anything except the oil seal for the oil filter housing.

I have a feeling you'll be making a lot of runs to toyota for different things with the felpro.

sounds like you're confused.

perhaps you mean you need 2 main bolts instead of studs because ARP screwed up on the original few runs of main studs (studs don't fit w/the oil pump)?

lol thanks funny but know i have come to find its not as cheap as i thought to build an engine. so cost was never a concern. im just under a grand away from having her back together and running. all i need is a 2.0 hks mhg, a full gasket kit, and the arp head studs.
