Ok, I'm driving down Altamere Blvd in Fort Worth about 12:30 am just after seeing Let Me In, which by the way is a bad ass vampire movie, chowing down on a Whataburger and this young punk dude in a 90-something V6 Mustang is trying like hell to get me to race. I'm going to have admit it made me feel good that someone thought my car was threatening enough and was wanting to race it.
Now my Lexus, this car:

is bone stock other than the shocks and wheels. I wondered if I could take him but this car is much heavier than an MKIII with a tad less horsepower so didn't want to run the risk of being spanked by a bitch car Mustang. :biglaugh:
So what do yall think? Could a 225 hp 4495lb Luxury Couple take a 90-something V6 Mustang?? I'm fairly certain that his car was bone stock too. No exhaust mods for sure.

Theres not really much you can do to make those v6 rustangs fast, besides a lot of nitrous or a fairly large blower. I have seen a twin turboed v6 mustang that was putting down some impresive numbers,(1000 hp range if i rember correctly) but most mustang driving douches wouldnt be able to afford that kinda work.

I was going off the sticker on the door for weight since I couldn't find the title. It may not be that heavy but it IS heavy.

Sadly a lot of people see the GVWR on their door and think that's what your car weighs. If your car did weigh that much you would be like 500 pounds heavier than my LS400.

lolo, i think mt saturn says like 3600lb. the other day i had to run it across a scale in the process of turning it into a work vehicle...it was 2480.

it will cost ya 9 bucks at the local truckstop to find out for sure
