I work for myself thogh CK, although you kind of do since you're in sales. I build decks and do remodeling along with painting and vinyl siding. It's what I like to do and I get paid to do it, so I'm happy. Good luck with your choices..........lol

Ck is the selling cars thing getting old or what??? Why do you feel this way??? What do you want to do???

And to be honest most people I know are not thrilled with their jobs but keep going on until they find something that makes them happy. Some people never find happyness but I believe those are the people that settle in life...

I was Working and wasn't happy so i quit and left that industry

Tried a few other things and a few things on my own. Still haven't found anything i will be happy with or that i enjoy and can make a career out of.

i won't vote though since technically i am not working right now

stopped working for myself/dropped the ball and currently looking for a job to pay my bills and keep life moving.

Well im happy in the sense that I have a job that I dont really mind going to daily because of the people I work with. The work itself can be stressful at times but im glad I stuck with it and it lead to me being able to buy a home and start a business which keeps growing. I have 2 other side businesses in the works and if those eventually lead to me leaving my "day job" then I would truely be happy.

When I turned 25 I was still in the USAF, and I was NOT happy at all. I got out of the military in November. I'll be 28 this May, and I JUST got a new job [haven't started yet]. I don't know if I'll be happy with it, but the pay is decent and I didn't even have to wait for a call-back after the interview; they hired me on the spot. I guess I'll let you know if I like the job in a few months.

I'm pretty happy in the Air Force. Minus this 4 month deployment, it isn't that bad.

Go into the Pornstar business. Heard good things about that. Haha

If you work at a car dealership you should be having the time of your life, Don't take is serious (except followup , and being respectful to customers) don't let the f-ing managers get under your skin or cheep as people who want everything for nothing . Just be clear this is your job this is how you make money to feed your family. And if thay want to deal with the best salesman(you) and get the best treatment sometimes it will cost them a few extra $$ but in the long run it will be worth it as you will be there to help them along the way and down the road if there is any issues.

I'm a yes and no. I like the responsibility I've gained, but the additional travel (upwards of 50% average in the past 6 months) and no additional pay for it blow.

To say I'm truly HAPPY with my career, I would need MUCH less travel (no more than 3-4 days out per month), at least as much responsibility as now with a little more compensation, some new challenges, and the opportunity to keep advancing. It's all what you make of it, and I'm working on it...

I'd love to be a car salesman, but it would be a tough job.

I'm only 18, but I'm hating my lack of a job right now. Being broke sucks, and what's worse, I got denied by Food Lion! Wtf? The way I see it, though, I'm too good for them.

I'm not 25 but I'm happy with my job. It pays good and I get to sit here and talk to you guys all day. :dunno:

I'll be with this company as long as it makes sense. My dad's been with the same company for at least 30 years and they've always treated him good.

i'm not yet 25... But i am going to put my 2c in...

I love the company i work for... But my job is ok-ish... I think i would be happier if the team i worked with pulled their weight a bit better and i was compensated appropriately for the amount of work that i do.

I am having trouble because i am young and ambitious, and working in a predominantly male company, i am having to put up with alot of crap to get people to take me seriously...
