LOL, who sent you that PM? Welcome. This is definitely the place to learn about the MKIII's.

It's an automatic thing generated by the software.

Bit of a back story... most online forums like this are funded by advertising revenue, and as such, they want their traffic / membership to appear as large as possible. This causes all kinds of difficulties for them, not the least of which is a database packed with, essentially, junk. We, on the other hand, are entirely privately funded, so we don't worry about artificially inflating this information. So, where most forums hang on to users like glue, even spambots and people that never post, we don't - we purge those from our database regularly to save space and improve performance.

You'll notice, over time, that this same attitude permeates everything here - it's built, organized, and run for the community, not in spite of it.

And there, in a nutshell, is why you get a reminder if you haven't posted. :)

And a note about the Search Police... we don't mind them as long as they make themselves useful and provide advice / tutorials on how to search. However, anyone posting SEARCH by itself is wasting space, bandwidth, and time, and they will get slapped for it. This is one of my pet peeves, so if you find this happening and you're not getting staff attention, let me know and I'll deal with it.

Welcome to the community, hope you get the car you're looking for. :D

Again Thanks, you guys are really helpful and cool.. So the car comes with a 7mgte.. The headgasket has been replaced with a metal headgasket.. The positives for this car is it has the round mounts so that later in the near future i can do a 2j swap and not have to worry about replacing the entire sub frame. But with the economy the wat it is at the moment, I'm just happy getting a decent supra..

Welcome to the forums! I've been slacking off on being on here as well as i've been busy with my MR2 more than my Supra. I've getting the 2jzgte for it though in 3 months (thats the goal). Once that happens i'll be on here a TON haha

Good luck on getting that Supra!

There is at least one guy who manufactures 1J/2J mounts that fit the older series subframe. Check out http://www.bicperformance.com/products.htm if you ever need a set.

By now it's starting to get tough to find a part that someone doesn't make for this car.

I'm running Randy's 1J solid motor mount adaptors and motor mounts. His work is top notch. I run my 1J hard and I have yet to see an issue with his products. Trust me, you'll be buying with confidence if you buy his stuff.

Welcome aboard, MKIV_Dreams. :)

GrimJack is right...There's not a whole lot left out there that's "upgradeable"
that isn't available for MKIII Supra's anymore.

Good luck finding your ideal Supra!
Meanwhile, Here's a list of our Supramania Authorized Vendors to get you started with what's available.
And if you can't find something...Chances are you can come across it by searching. :)
