So here I am Radio Active

Yup I am. radio active. I get to sleep in my garage till monday, (it's my second day so far) I have hyperthyroidism (thyroid on crack syndrome) Doc said if let untreated my body will degenerate until i die. So I had 3 options, die, surgery, or radioiodine treatment. Of all o choose from the third on sounded the least painful. So until monday i am sleeping in my garage, with no running water or luxeries. And no it's not some super garage, i live ina townhouse. The garage is only big rnough to fit a metro or festiva in. I am going apeshit from the flies that have started annoying the hell out of me today. This laptop is about as slow as a glacier right now. I am gong insane and this is oly day 2. I have to make it until monday. I am unable to work on my cars due to the fucking rain were having up here. going to rain till next friday from what the weather man is saying. I have 3 CD's and have then all memorized now

I just wanted to post this so that i could vent, my wife is tired of haring me bitch. Rules of my radioactiveness:

no less than 5' away from adults, no were near kids or pregnant women. and general isolation. I can't evenuse my own bathroom. So you can imagine what
it's like. Just think of a camping trip someone made you go on.


I'm done for now, if someone is actully intrested in reading this, i might post some more, like a diary from hell. :1zhelp:

its due to the dosage amount, my thyroid ,during the uptake test, only absorbs 66% of the dose, the rest is expelled through, sweet, urine, semen, and in general just radiating from my body. so thats why i am isolated.

Day 3 ---- THIS SUCKS! anyways, i'm still bored, and to top that off, I'm starting to get sick. I feel like i have to hurl. I'm going to blamethat on the McDonalds my wife got for me. Aside from all that, the rain has let up.. for now. If i could get some more work done to my new (old as hell but new to me :icon_bigg ) I'll have something to take to work on monday. I've never been more excited to go to work. Least till Ferrari hires me as a test "pilot" :naughty:

Oh yea the other wonderfull thing stopping me from getting my new car fixed: JUNE BUGS!! for those that don'tknow what they are... they are a japanese beetle on steriods. They are about 3-4X the size of a jap beetle. THe have been dive bombing me. I've been hitting them with my wifes tennis raquet. Yet for every 1 i kill 2 more show up. Found out brake cleaner, and a lighter knock em out f the sky real quick!

To avoid having to reply to this and having my comp take 10 min. to load it. My new car is an 81 VW rabbit 2dr 5sp convert. Silver red viynl. got it for free and it gets about 35mpg.... when it runs. Fucking german cars.... to this day I don't know why I like em. But eh... it is what it is.

So I'm off to fuck with the car for now. I'l add more when I'm ready to sleep.

German cars do make you scratch your head more often than most. I remember the first time I slid under a Porsche 944 to disconnect the driveshaft and discovered a solid unmoving tube where it should have been I don't know why they did it, and it was a pain to get off with no flex in it whatsoever.

I find it kind of funny the euro thing. I have been working on euro's sice i was 11 ( 23 now) and always all there lectrical problems come from the previous owners not knowing what they are doing. Case in point... 81 rabbit conv. headlights inop. some and intermit. Seems the put a new grill in that accomodates some 5" driving lights. looks good, but not so electrically good. I am looking at the relay they used to intigrate the driving ligts. that they did a good job on. But the only light that works is the drivers side high beam. Check fuses, good. bulb is good, under hood wiring is good. I pull the fuse block down....... DOH! I wish i had a camera, it's FUBAR-ed So I have since had to make a relay setup for all the lights. PITA but if you are into euro's of that era you know it has to be done. Anyways, my whole point here:

for years I was told by a domestic...... hell no! had one left me sit three times, took it to auction, lost a butt load of money ($1200) then I kept hearing how well the jap cars are built and run etc... So i bought one after my mint i do mean mint 91 jetta carat with a 2.0 turbo swap got wrecked.

I bought my 87t supra. and i'll-be-damned! they were right. Only reason that car came apart was for more power. So to all that have officially switchedfrom euro to jap, i'm proud of you. As for me i'm still toying with both for the sake of money.

Also with the 944 - i've found the easiest way to do a drive shaft:


convince the customer that a brand new 911 twinturbo is a better car over all

After they buy the 911, take the 944 to your local recycling yard, have them seperate the body from the motor and trans with that big ass skid loader! :biglaugh:

true story xcept mine happened with a beat ass 928. that poor car had over 300k miles. and it was horrid brown. guy came in with and engine noise. I had him take me for a brisk drive. we were towed back to the shop with a connecting rod in my lap :naughty:

so yes onward to the rabbit..... it's getting sold after i fix the "issues"
