i know.. not a snowmobile forum but maybe somebody has a answer for me.
i managed to pull a stud out of my track, leaving a delaminated section and a hole in my track.
any way to fix this? the outer rib and edge are in tact.

The only real fix is to replace the track :( But you should be able to still ride it around for the rest of the season if you want to.

plan on that,a new track is gonna cost me as much as the sled did, il ride it till the track destroys itself...
i was thinking about taking some 1/4" conveyor belting to make a bridge piece across the next two studs on that edge to reinforce it

For the track just get a used one. A normal "used" condition is 100-150. A mint condition 1 1/4" paddle track with studs in it is 300 ;) We have a few used tracks down here after parting out 25 sled just this year

il bring money in may. should fit in the supra right? you dont happen to have a extra-10 or extra-12 polaris suspension laying around as well do you? this race setup is very stiff and short

M,y they might be sold by then;)

well, set aside a track for me, 3/4" or 1" would probably work best for me, the track that is on it is a 3/4". studded if you have one, if not i can reuse my studs(well most of them!) is that suspension a 10 or a 12?

I will see what I can do on the track for you. Do you happen to know the length you need? And for the skid, that would be the xtra 12 ;) IIRC it is out of a 97' XLT with only 1100 miles on it. The guy we pick it up from some how got water in the engine. Other wise the sled was MINT cond. Not even a scratch on the plastic.

as far as i know it is stock length for a rxl. how can i measure it? just run a tape around it?
from everything i have read, the extra 12 should bolt into a wedge chassis...... or am i being misled? very tempted to do both. happen to have the shocks and springs for the front as well? if so how much for a package deal? il come and get it

Sorry bud the front shocks are already gone. 300 for the skid and track off of that XLT xtra 12. Both are like new. If you want me to I will go and take a couple pics of them for you.

i dont have a pic of the track, but it is in GREAT cond. has 7/8 paddle on it. 1100 EZ miles on it along with the skid.

Here is a pic of the skid. Next time I will grab that measurement as soon as Don goes out to the garage.
