what in the world would cause the car to have almost no oil pressure, and smoke up like crazy? Would the coolant hose going to the firewall be the problem or is there any other causes? Check engine light would go on when i drive it for a little bit, but once the motor is off it clears and drive for a little and it's back... :aigo: now my car is just sitting somewhere in the streets

BOTH?? :aigo: I wouldn't drive the car until you know what's wrong. My first thought is bad turbo...but maybe not...what were you doing when it started smoking?

And you said the CEL was on? Have you checked codes?

CEL is only on when the car is on and moving for a little bit, once i shut off the car, it goes away and... repeats

it's white, but i use mostly water for coolant and also i highly doubt it but the line from behind the block going to the firewall/heater wouldnt make this happen right? maybe just a little warmer...

Well, something is burning to make the white smoke...its either coolant or brake fluid...

And since your oil pressure is really low, i'm going to say you have a pretty serious problem...like BHG or cracked head maybe? Of course that's worst case scenario.

Loose/leaking return line wouldn't cause a drop in pressure, a feed line would tho.

But I thought you said the smoke was white? Oil burning would be bluish...

Does the smoke smell sweet like coolant burning, or like oil burning?

got the coolant line to the firewall/heater fixed, besides that, I remember there was a ton of smoke coming from the exhaust manifold, so i'll check that later for oil leaks, which i'm 100% sure thats one part of it. Besides that oil in the motor is still full. Still confused on why there is close to 0 psi of oil pressure...

oh also, oil pressure is fine when it's cold, it's just after it warms up, thats when the oil pressure and rpm is really off

Are you using a after market oil gauge or stock one? If stock sending unit is used, make sure it is grounded properly
