Not to long ago i was reading another thread somewhere on here and someone
( I can't remeber who now) Mentiond a method they used for tinting there turn signals. I thought is sounded pretty cool nd quite easy so i figured i would give it a try.
This was my first time working with any real kind of bodys mod and paint. I think it turned out ok.
It was pretty hard to get all the crack lines out of the paint. The plastic lenses when i started did not look like they were cracked at all. But the paint really brought out all the little imperfections in the Plastic lenses.
I am still not to sure how to finish these off to get rid of the final craks and orange peel afect with the clear coat but here they are
BTW: Thank you to who ever suggested using Tint Spray for models and duplicolour Clear coat along with a bit of wet sanding
The pictures are kind of odd with the flash the tint looks less dark and without you can kind of see the cracks and orange peel
