smoke smell?

When i take the car out for i drive, i smell this bunk ass smell.......I pop the hood to see whats happening and i see this sort of steam looking thing comming from the turbo area......i really hope thats not my head gasket or a turbo leak of some sort, is it even possible if the car only has 59,XXX miles and only a K&N cone filter?

check the turbo coolant lines, they are right on top the turbo.

does it burn your eyes when you put your face next to it or does it smell like maple syrup?
if your eyes start to itch its escaping exhaust, maple syrup coolant, and if its just smoke then probably oil lines or seals arent workin to good

whats it smell like? what color is the smoke? two very important items of note...

sweet smell=coolant
rotten eggs smell= clogged cat
bleh smell= oil burning
gas smell= fuel burning

white=coolant
blue=oil
black=fuel

hope that helps...put the smell and color together to come up with possible problems
