Drove Behind My Wife In A Car, Thought It Was A Coolaint Leak Plugged Up Those But Still Blowing Smoke When Hit Under Rapid Exceleration?? Any Idea????????
White/ I did the turbo install and did not remove the bottom ic pipe and it is possible that I got coolant in the pipe so I going to check there and see!
Is the turbo rebuilt? Or did you have one blown and then removed it? If its rebuilt, its a possable bad turbo. If the previous turbo blew, your lower IC pipe is filled with oil.
Also, make sure you have the right size turbo oil drain and make sure the center housing is straight up and down.
I had the turbo rebuilt a couple of years back it has 12k on it/ I took it off because I chipped 1 fin on comp side and wanted to have it checked out.. then the owner of tec turbo (place that built the turbo) PASSED AWAY so I decided to go with the put it on the car idea and wham problems....
Hey i checked my lower ic pipe no coolant in the pipe and as far as oil just the oily resadue on pipe. No puddles are anything ......Bhg?? Every other car i have blew a HG on had lots of white smoke, i drove for 25 min today around town no smoke un till I go WOT then a cloud of white??????
"fuel pump old. old fuel pump dosnt flow very well, engine leans out, detonation occurs, white smoke comes out exhaust." I seen this somewhere else was woundering if this would be going on to my car? I do have the stock pump and Adj FPR??
Problem solved!!!!!!!!!! The pvc vacume lines that go from the turbo inlet tube to the valve covers to the TB was plugged causing my crankcase to fill with smoke under boost, cleaned out and runs great!
