OK, so I'm not sure where I read or heard it but just in order to try and get my car running properly I put like 1 1/2 foot long hoses on my valve covers and then vented them down on the intake side. However, once the car is warm smoke blows from both of them, the intake and exhaust. Is this supposed to happen? The only reason I even noticed was because I don't have my catch can yet and was just trying to get all hoses and such hooked up so that I can set the TPS and see if my new mods are working correctly...

What exactly does this mean? Could it be because I have a smaller bolt in the CPS hole and it is letting oxygen inside the cam covers?

But how would I plumb it back to stock if I am not using the stock TB anymore?

Couldn't I just use a catch can?

RIght; which is what i meant!

So what exactly does blowby from the rings mean? I need a rebuild or what?

If it's excessive yes but most if not all motors will have some and this is why Toyota engineered such a good ventilation system for our motors!

Always amused when someone decides to outsmart the factory ;)
(Worst case scenario is too much crankcase pressure and leaky seals)

Lol; not outsmart just that the new TB doesn't have a port like the stock one did for the PCV to be plugged into...

Hence why it is like it is.

Thanks for the info.
