doubtful, Cali requires really good or low level emissions, put in a bottle of Guaranteed(sp) to pass and a bottle of injector cleaner on about 1/2 tank of gas, run the piss out of it and take it in.......

Absolutely not !!! They will look for the cat as part of the visual inspection. You can fail immediately without a cat, they won't even hook you up to the machine. Sorry.
