I picked up a 1989 Mk III Supra in the middle of October with a blown head gasket.
I ended up paying $2500 for it and brought it down to my school to be worked on.
An HKS metal head gasket and ARP head studs were ordered for the fix.
I finished fixing the blown head gasket on November 20th and next it is time for upgrades.
The car has 75,000 miles on it with immaculate interior.

Here are some pictures of the car after fixing the BHG:

Next steps are a new exhaust, suspension, and wheels!

Its been a while since I posted so I think its time for some updates and pictures of the fix:

Just got the head off:
Notice how piston 5 got a nice steam cleaning because of the blown head gasket.
Looked like a brand new piston! :D

So lately I have been working on cheap changes to the car and fixing things as they come.
I bought a Driftmotion power-steering hose and replaced mine which was leaking.
I also started painting my saw blade wheels back to stock color but have only finished 2 of them since it is way to cold out and i have been busy.

I bought some LED's and replaced the lights in my gauge cluster to give it a cleaner look than the green lights.

I now ordered a BIC Performance divorced downpipe and will be installing it along with his 3.5" exhaust soon after.
For the suspension, I would like to keep the tems and possible buy tokico shocks along with some lowering springs.
I also plan to eventually buy a full Bomex body kit so no need to worry about the lip with that. :)
