runs fine it back fires a little when i gas it hard you smell gas everything sounds good and looks good no gas leak what could it be im stumped (check engine light isnt on) boosts fine and so on i just smell gas

yes last year it was removed but no gas smell till i had it apart for head gasket replacement ...the line is closed thow
We use non-vented gas caps, and pressure can build up inside the gas tank. The charcoal canister has a 2psi check valve to relieve this pressure. If you closed that pipe then the pressure is probably finding another way out. Try to put the evap system back in it's there for a reason.
Ok ill fix that one but the smell is in the intake and it never did it b4 like when i remmove the inter cooler pipe u smell gas
Did you replace the rubber injector grommets when you replaced the HG?

The injector gromets have a small side and larger side what side does the small part face?? Motor or fuel rail
Quick lay of what goes on .. the intercooler pipes reak of gas when taken off ..when i hit gas hard u smepp gas and other than that and a little backfireing its 100%a fine kinda a rough idol but not realy. No check engine light
