Well since i love doing things myself, i want to install the maft pro by myself. But i have a dilemma as to once i install it... It has to be tuned...
And since i would never be comfortable tuning it myself, should i just go to a shop and have them do all of the crap?
I know of a shop that i trust, and it really isn't that expensive for me, but i could save quite a few dollars doing it myself.
So quick question: If i do install it myself, is there any way to have a safe tune for a 30 minute drive to the shop? Or should i just let them do it?

if you configure it to the quick setup guide, it should be very close to stock.

that being said, it is pretty easy to tune, and doubtful any shops around there would have a clue about it. you would probably be just as well off tuning yourself with advice from the people here.

This was one of my main fears when I finally got one. I always wondered if it could just go off of the stock settings when you first install it so there is no need for an immediate tune.

you should be able to set the base parameters to whatever the manual says, and leaving everything at 0.
