so im bored here at work and was looking at "The People's Car"
thread and just thought to myself saying "wouldn't it be great if we(Supramania) had an auto shop. where SM members can go for meets and BBQs and have fun and fix there cars if the need a lift. :naughty:

then next question came to mind..."how much money will it take to do this and who is going to pay"

just a thought guys. what do you think?

Actually up here at a shop I hang out at and kinda working at we are planning on making Sundays like a open shop day where we hang out working on cars and have BBQ.

Not to rain on your parade, but fair warning:

We used to do that at my shop until stuff started disappearing...

It's the reason we stopped doing it. You'd be amazed how many little (and important) things "grow legs" when you try to be a nice guy.

Just be careful, and lock up everything, especially customer cars/parts.

Yea when I worked at the race shop we had vistors coming by all the time. Lots of shit got stolen, including my cell phone. Fuck vistors!

I help people at here at my garage. Mainly just my close friends, though, since only one or two of you bastards are near me anyway ;)

Jeff hasn't come by, but I've given him a hand a couple times at his dad's shop!

Stickers? Where? How do I get one?

I wouldn't mind rocking a Supramania sticker on my car. Need one for my brother's TA, too. ;)

Envision a huge garage with about 10 lifts where all tools would be provided. It would be fenced in with entrance and one exit. You could have a metal detector at both ends. You could also charge a hefty membership fee.:sarcasm:

Have you been living under a rock all this time? This is the old one - I still have some of these. There's a new one that matches the logo on the SM Red theme, too.

Believe it or not, I've never had a SupraMania sticker.

You'd think my MKIII would be a rolling advertisement for this place...

How's that for fucked up? :D

I've never had a sticker for anything on any of my cars, and am not about to start now, but I do think I have some of the old SM.com stickers kicking around still. I threw some on a few MK3's around here over the past couple years.

Actually maybe I did have one on my crapbox 87 AE86 for a while, lol. No way I'd put one on a car I care about, but that's a personal thing, not because I don't like SM ;).
