Hey guys, I reciently bought a new Al driveshaft and on the end that plugs into the trans the outside seems to have been a nicely polished type surface. When I got the new one it was the same way, however the extreme humidity around my area at this time has made the end begin to get surface rust on it taking away the polished finish. I was wondering if this was a problem for any type of seal or anything on the trans that the rust would kill. Any input is appreciated; Thanks!

the end that slides into the tranny i thinik has one seal. You might want to see if brillo pad with a bit of oil will take it off. Then cover the rest of it with oil
