so the title says it all, i have very little low end torque and at idle the car feels like it's misfiring a bit also i can hear the turbo spool up while accelerating but i don't feel very much power coming from it, infact i can accelerate faster when i let my foot off a bit. I will eventually be doing an LS1 conversion, but until then i need the 7mgte to run properly. I have checked over the entire vaccuum system and intake for leaks, so i don't think the issue is there. Could a faulty o2 sensor cause this issue? I was going to pull the codes on my car but the connector for the diagnostic block is in bad shape, and a few of the wires are no longer in their original locations, but rather taped up so they don't make contact.(dipshit friend of mine dropped the charcoal canister on it while it was being removed) I have a replacement but i need to get it wired in and shrink wrap it all up. What are some common issues with these motors that can cause this?

Additionally the motor is idling normally from what i can tell, starts off at about 900 then drops to 650 after a second or two. then the shudder from the motor can be felt. I have the timing set to 10* btdc as the TSRM says, and the tps appears to be in the correct position as i don't have a code 51 any longer. the only codes i had last time i was able to check are from the speedometer not reading because the cable is broken. any help is greatly appreciated as this is my DD until the truck is back on the road, or the snow starts flying whichever comes first.

running Bosch platinum single electrodes gapped them to specs, they were put in right after the head gasket was changed and they don't have heavy build up on them.
