okay, finally i've been stumped on something else...but at least its not something envolving the performance of my car!!:thefinger
well i dont know anybody that doesn't love the o-so-classic look of sleeper eyes, and i wanted to keep them like that and unplug the "plug" so that they would stay like that(obviously just for daytime)...and i can't get the damned plug apart. i tried on another friends mk3 and on a friends mk2 and still couldn't get it...is there a secret or am i just retarded?:eek3dance

i personally think it looks like a broken honda... when you set them to the desired height, just turn the headlight switch ONE click on. (the dot on the combo switch) when you turn your car off, they'll stay like that. you'll have to re-set them every time you turn your lights on and off, though.

i still say dont do it, but that's how. it looks bad, in my opinion.

there is the failsafe way of manually winding up the lights.Take off the rubber boot and you will see a red round knob.start twisting it and the light will manually start to rise/drop.the other way is to adjust the rod so when it fully closes it is still slightly up.
The other mod you may consider is to get a gold honda badge and put it on the hood so ppls can see its a honda not a supra.

I like it stock. just throw some nice H4 replacement housings in (APC diamond style I think) so you can run different style bulbs and it also reduces the wieght and reflects off more light. I did it to my mK2 and Vette.

thats a good idea, but avoid the APC brand lights at all cost. The bulbs are nice, but the conversions suck. The beam pattern on them sucks. As cool as they look, you won't be able to see shit at night, even with 100 watt high beam bulbs....

if your looking for a good h4 headlight conversion..

go with the hella e code lamps.. there are the most bad ass for a light pattern.. but there not legal in the usa for usage. :evil2:

my motors are broke so they stay up all the time:icon_mad: !!! i see a few here like that and it makes me want to slap them in the back of the head with a 24mm wrench!!!! either leave them as they are or go front facing halogen.

well i'll say that on 240sx's....i liked them a lot...and i had one and did it...and i decided to try it on the supra....couldn't get...so from the feedback, obviously they dont look too great, huh?

again i say...... either leave them alone(other than the hella conversion) or go front facing. why anyone would want to give it the "sleeper" look needs to be hit really hard in the back of the head. having to mess with the lights anytime you wanna drive at night is just a pain in the ass. so i guess that you could put me in the anti - sleeper look group.
