Okay Im still putting my car together i have the motor in and getting ready to run vacuum lines and water lines so I have a few questions.

What did you guys do about the ISC where did you run the hose to that goes to the turbo side?

Which vacuum lines did you guys use and did you half to plug most of the vacuum ports on the intake plenum?

Has Anybody ever plugged up the water lines to the ISC and throttle body?

I will be running on stock computer until I can get my hands on a stinger...

I took that metal U pipe from the ISCV off and left the ISCV open. You could put a breather filter on it. I don't recall capping off any vacuum lines on the intake manifold. I think I used the one that goes around the back of the head to the stock BOV for something else that was already tee'd off on that side. Don't remember. :nono:

I have a 1jz'd 240sx with a twin gt28r.

Clint I am not sure what is the iscv, but I suspect it's the pipe at the back of the turbo-side valve cover. If so put a filter there, that needs to suck in air while idle, otherwise your car will shut off.

Yes, that one. The valve itself sits on the back of the intake manifold.

i put a breather filter on my ISC, still have the pipe for the vaccum hardline.

im still using all of my vacuum ports on the intake manifold for one thing or another.

i plugged all of the water lines for the TB and the ISC, iirc you only need them for cold climates

a local guy around here is running a stock ecu w/safc on his T72 1J, and hes not having much problems at all with his car. im running Mine's w/ and AFC and i have no problems whatsoever.

I looped those two sum' bitches together. They were capped before when I got the car but those caps bust over time. They're kinda tricky to reach at. I'm sure overtime the hose will wear out too but the hose is alot easier to pull on to remove.:naughty:

I hate caps. All 4 of the water caps burst in me within a week of putting my turbo kit on. The ones on the right side(TB ISC) were unrelated to the turbo kit, they just happened to finally give around the same time. The two on the left side(old turbo water line sources) busted each of their caps within a day of installing them. They were cheap 'need them now' autozone types but still.

I looped those two, and the other two on the intake side. Coolant leak and busted cap problem gone!

PS: I said "bust a cap" teehee:momaru:

I'm sure if you clamp them good, the caps will stay. I just didn't feel like putting more caps there with all the cap bustin going around. :biglaugh:

does this mean that you will be offering twin t25 manifolds and downpipes for the 1j as well :naughty:

i went to the local auto parts store, got one of the little ricer boy breathers (the stainless steel lookin one) and it fits inside the rubber piece that connects the ISC to the pipe on the back

I blue printed the manifold & downpipe for the twin gt28. So if someone want a kit I should have one made within a week or so.

Not sure what the price would be but it seem like It should land in the 650-750 range. I want make sure they are cheap enough for ppl to afford with out forsaking quality. We'll see.
