Signs of a Dying Fuel Pump

Hey guys I was just wondering if there are any signs that a fuel pump is on its last legs?

Well one thing I noticed when my pump was dying was that I couldnt start the car if it was parked on an angle where the nose was higher than the back of the car... dunno if that's common or not.

mine ran rougher than usual. Had troubles starting hot sometimes.

Well I couldn't find any vacuum leaks with mine and the idle was a little up and down. The next day it just took a dump on me so I was just curious to see if that was a sign of a dying pump.

if you're unsure, just throw in a new walbro. it may save te life of your motor

Or you could throw in a JZA80 TT pump instead. Plug and play, doesn't whine like a banshee, and IMO, isn't a piece of garbage.
