sideways turbo

y dont you ever see a turbo pointing sideways so the downpipe can go streaght down maybe not on a supra but y do you neer see this is there something i dont know about turbos?

I think he means with the compressor inlet pointing straight up....

And its not a good idea for lubrication reasons....oil will get all coked up in the turbo because of a lack of drainage.....

exactly. the CHRA has to be oriented w/the drain facing straight down to ensure proper drain of the oil...
