Go for the white, it makes a big difference.

I just bought a set of the white ones, but you need a paint that has flex agents mixed in which allows you to handle the trim while you install them without cracking the new paint. Any good body shop should be able to do them for you, I would avoid the rattle-can DIY if you can.

Matt Im confused, is that not stock trim you painted on your car or what? Facelift trim? is that our trim with the rubber shit taken off? haha Id like to redo my trim soon as well, black bc my car is getting painted black.

White's good, but I like the separation. I think when I finally get around to getting my body work done I think I'm going to go with a very light silver for the trim.

Listen to Gilsdorf about the flex agents... especially on pre89 moldings, they've got a lot more rubber on the face.

Matt swapped out his grey 89+ trim for 89+ trim from a white package MKIII... it's white from the factory.

BINGO! You Colorado boys are sure smart!!:biglaugh: :biglaugh:
I bought a near complete set off of the "bay" the only pieces I actually painted were the very fronts with the turns in them. I used some home depot white plastic (for the flex agents) spray paint. It looks OK, but up close there is a color difference. Hard to tell on this picture, but the front doesn't match, and prep work to get it to not fisheye on trim that is 17+ years old wasn't easy, ended up painting and striping it twice on both sides and it still looks like ass.
