I was thinking about getting a replacement aluminum intercooler, but I am worried that nothing will be available for my 1991 7MGTE with the stock intercooler with all the crazy piping that goes in and out of the same side. Is there an easier way to install one that just goes all the way through? Is one better than the other? I've seen the Spearco version, but who has that kind of money? Thanks

Sorry I don't currently have any pics, but I have a HPF IC kit.

If you can find it in you to save up the money to purchase one, I would definitely recommend it. There is no bigger core in a MKIII kit [that doesn't require modifications to the body] than the one in the HPF kit. It measures 24x10x3."

Good luck with whatever you decide.

nash, i have a PTE "medium" IC
it's of amazing quality and well worth the money. buy one. you will not be disappointed.
and the medium one fits perfectly between the frame rails with about 1/4" on each side

i cant wait to get my car all sorted, figure out what turbo setup i want and buy a FFI...
