Show me your intercooler brackets

My intercooler is already installed, but I hate the brackets I came up with on the fly. I am planning on re-doing and I'm looking for some ideas. Was thinking about mounting it to the bumper support somehow.

Looking for pictures on how you mounted yours. Preferably something clean.

First iteration, I had to make a custom hood latch support for it to work right, but that was no more difficult than making the brackets themselves.



Lower mounts:


Re-done uppers to look better, even though the hood latch is gone, it fits the same.


Newer IC is similar. Works pretty well!

It's functional, right? Why don't you get one of those "cooling panels" to conceal it. It'll dress up the engine bay as well.

Used aluminum bar, mocked the mounts up with cardboard, and went from there.

Here's how i mounted mine.



The ic is bolted directly onto the bar, i haven't the bottom brackets but haven't added in there yet.With this you're pushing the ic out a good amount and i had to trim the bottom of the bumper to clear it. But there's plenty of room.
