I really like this supra and tomorrow im gonna go see it. The only problem i have with it is that i want a turbo. Only problem with it is it has a little rust on the rear wells and it idles iradically from 600-800. If i get it Ill eventually convert it to turbo but i was just wondering if this car is worth it. He wants 2100 obo. Wouldnt mind fellow supra enthusiats opinions....thanks

What about the engine?
I would give him $1700 for it. Its a nice body paint isnt to fubared and it looks like it would be a good project.
I started with an NA and I'm glad I did, my car has yet to see more than a good week of down time. I'm not going to put down the turbos but I don't think they are the best thing to get when jumping into the supra game. Take it easy get an NA enjoy the car for a while then think about going for more power. A well maintained NA has plenty of power to break the wheels loose and do alot of stuff most other cars cant, not for that price at least.

just my $0.02

I wouldn't pay more than $1600. New struts? The front looks way higher than it should be. Although he replaced a lot of stuff he should know he won't get that money back out of the car. He says new "coil, coil module", I'm assuming he means spark plug wires and distributor? A mechanic should know the difference.. He also says he replaced the idle speed valve and tps, but with an idle going from 600-800 obviously you are buying a car with a known problem. If you plan on putting the turbo engine in, why not start with a turbo model and save yourself the trouble? Nothing wrong with starting NA, when I bought my car it was NA, but if you have the money to buy a turbo model you will save yourself lots of money and lots of work in the long run.
