I picked up a plug and play harness as i drive the car everyday and did not want any down time. This allowed me to tune my standalone and swap back to the stock ecu as needed. One i got the car driveable i left the standalone in. You cant compare a standalone and the afc it's like a t88 vs a stock turbo, all i can say is get one. No more fuel cut unless you want it total timing and fuel control also car pulls to 7k no problembountykilla0118;960052 said:Good stuff ….. I am running a SAFC II and to me the thing was too easy to tune. I dont see how people charge so much to tune with that thing. How difficult was the stinger to get it up and running? How easy was the initial tuning compared to tuning with the very “user friendly” SAFC considering you can just change the data files and run the stock ecu settings.
I am the kind of guy that does things on his own and I am in the building process right now. I have put together a parts list which most of the parts will be from bigaaron and I am thinking the stinger is the way to go did you get a plug and play harness?
What’s your feedback on the installation and tuning?
