Back story...in July of 2007 my motorcycle(a 1998 Honda Interceptor)was stolen from my apartment complex. So the bike was reported to the police (I work for the police department) and insurance called...insurance said that it was not covered because no comprehensive, even though I asked for it when the policy was bought. So fast forward to today...Im deployed and 7 thousand miles from home. I got an email from my wife saying that she received a call from an investigator at the police department (that I work for) about my bike. Well 1 year later they found my motorcycle. Some guy was driving around with it laying in the back of his truck. He was pulled over for speeding when the officer noticed the bike in the back with no tags, but the VIN plate was still on it and it came back stolen. The guy was arrested and I got the bike back. I was just amazed that after a year of the possibility of it even being in one piece. We figured that whoever stole it stripped the fairings for money, drove it till it ran out of gas, because the tank will not open with the key because they tried to pry it open, and then let it sit. Now to the pics. The first one was taken about a week before it was stolen. Then the others are as of today.

I hope the guy who stole it gets a special "conjugal visit" from Bubba...

Congrats on getting it back, you really beat the odds.

I think the plan when I get home is to make it into a streetfighter. Ive been looking at parts and I can get everything to do what I want for about 600 bux. Then the only thing, is to make a custom tail section for the seats to clean the rear end up a bit.
