You might have to bite the bullet and take it to one of the pack and ship or ups stores. It will cost you an arm and a leg.
If you don't use the ups store and you ship it via ups I can guarantee you they will damage it. Don't even think about filing a claim either because you will be denied due to improper packing.
Hit your local appliance store, and see if you can get a small refrigerator box. Cut it down to fit your needs, and pack it full of newspaper, foam peanuts, etc. Office Depot sells the foam peanuts.
Getting it professionally packaged would probably be the way to go, though.
