if i shimmed my turbo and got to around 11 to 12 psi what would i be running in the quarter, and will this blow my hg. i have arp studs but not a mhg.

you wont know until you go...it all depends on your 60' times and your tires...better tires...better times....and no if your head is torqued properly then its fine

At 12psi I ran a 14.3 @ 99. My first time to the track on street tires and a crappy track.
As far as blowing the hg theres one way to find out as all Supras react differently.

keep good plugs and wires in her along with say 91 or 93 gas u should be fine for a while. First time i went out I ran a 14.3 2.5 60ft @ 102 mph. got that 60ft time down and came back and ran a 13.8 @ 102mph

if the stock headgasket is torqued to 72ft lbs, and in good condition when done, it can support 400hp easy, so long as you keep detonation in check. tuning is KEY.
