any one have a link or something? tried the search bar with the "title search" option to look for shimless buckets but only found one but was for 7mgte. i know 2jz's can do this also but trying to get more info like, if a 2jz aristo has the same bucket to cam clearance as a usdm 2jz, and part numbers, etc.

Can't just throw buckets and shims in. Has to be measured with the head and cams you have. It's about 300$ for the shimless buckets.

yeah i know. measure clearance first then remove measure bucket then calculate for new bucket install and remeasure. gues what im saying is are the clearances the same for a jdm 2jz and which part numbers are they? cause ive read ppl use mr2 spyder shims (year unknown), 1zz or whatever engine model is, and some just go off part number
Jdm 2jz uses the same buckets and shims as usdm. But sizes of the shims are different for every motor.
In that link I posted, if you measure the shim with bucket you will get the total size needed for shimless and it has the pn next to it so you can order from champion toyota or the like.

I get that every shim is different to close the gap between the vavle stem and cam lobe since we dont live in a perfect world. so the clearance specs are the same for usdm and jdm. im just makeing sure they aren't different, so when i do go measure and fit shimless im not outta spec.
