Shim help

Hey guys, Just put my USDM cams in my 2JZ.

First off, I made the mistake of turning the engine without the shims secured down :3d_frown: and Alot of them fell. Well I tried to put back what shims I could, But I wasnt sure of the order they went.

I put the cams in, Caps Torqued down to 14ftlbs(put a lil oil on the bolts before hand) turned 120* broke free what the manual says to break free, repeated. Well It was time for checking the clearance of the shims.

The measurements with 2 numbers mean that the first guage went in with ease and the second went in the some force. so Im guessing the clearance is somewhere in between them

Is it ok to just change them around and see if I can get it in spec?
