Shadow grey interior question.

I just noticed that i had shadow grey interior. Now the question is what color are the seats supposed to be? My seats look regular grey and the covers that go on the side of the seats are also regular grey. But the seat belt guides are shadow grey. So I'm wondering if the seat are original or if they were put in as replacements?

Shadow gray 91 interiors with leather had medium gray seats and inserts, while 92 shadow gray interiors had black seats and inserts...

looking at your build thread, you don't have shadow gray...

one way to make sure is to check your door panels, shadow gray only came with the 6.5 speakers/covers/door panels..

Ok. I had real dark grey seat belt guides that were broken. So I bought more and they were lighter. That kinda threw me off also.

Nope. I have the dark shadow grey seats out of a 92 and the plastic sides are light grey. The side panels and seat belt guides are easy enough to remove and paint black. The c-clip on the passenger side can be a little tricky, but overall a very easy task to accomplish. At least when the seats are outside of the vehicle.

There were probably recovered then. As in jugodegolf pics they're very dark, almost black. I'll check mine after work, but I'd say they're black, not light grey.

I can't tell from the pic tho.. is the plastic on the seat/on the door sill the same dark gray as the dash? Or is it black like the seats? I have the same color dash as in that pic. So that'll tell me a lot.

from memory, it should be the same color, nothing in my 92 cloth interior is medium gray...

Perhaps; but the thing isn't even running yet. You'd have to push it pretty hard to do me any damage. I may come back to it if I ever get this project finished. As it sits; it's all show and no go.

Looked at mine and they're dark grey like the other plastics in the car.
